What Ancelotti says about the tax fraud allegations
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has spoken out about the allegations made against him. The allegations are "an old story that will hopefully be resolved soon", said the Italian after the Champions League round of 16 second leg against RB Leipzig.
The background: on Wednesday, reports had circulated that the Spanish public prosecutor's office was demanding almost five years in prison for Ancelotti after the 64-year-old allegedly tried to avoid paying tax on his image rights in 2014 and 2015.

"I have no problems, I'm very calm," said the coach, denying any accusations. Ancelotti is not guilty of anything, which is why there is no cause for concern.
In sporting terms, however, everything is going according to plan for the coach of the "royals". The Madrilenians booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday, while ÖFB captain David Alaba's club lead the Spanish championship by seven points from their closest rivals Girona.
