Blue jogging trousers, half-broken sneakers, a jacket that has seen its best years. Benedikt Mittmansgruber has spruced himself up for the interview with the "Krone". "Don't you like it? I stole this jacket from my dad. It's over 40 years old," says the Mühlviertel native. He is currently taking off and is also filling halls in Germany. And speaks High German there. "It's difficult, like if I were to do my program in English. I always think about what the word means in High German and then I come up with it. But surprisingly, it comes across. In Cologne, a lady in the front row fell asleep. And snored loudly. That was the funniest evening."
