New job for Bayern legend Franck Ribery

Franck Ribery has a new job. The former FC Bayern star player will join the "Icon League" founded by Toni Kroos, where he will contribute his many years of experience on the pitch as team captain.

"Bienvenue, Franck Ribery. It's going to be great, I promise! Ribery is joining the Icon League as team captain," the league announced the deal on its social media channels.

In 2023, Kroos founded the Icon League together with Twitch streamer Elias Nerlich, which aims to combine soccer with entertainment.

In addition to soccer stars such as David Alaba, the league has also recently attracted a celebrity from the music scene in the form of rapper Luciano. With Franck Ribery, the Icon League has now gained another name.
