Contract rejected?
Chaos at Bayern: Is Musiala already planning his escape?
Jamal Musiala has apparently put his future in Munich to the test. Although the record champions would like to extend his contract as soon as possible, the 21-year-old can certainly imagine leaving in the summer.
Recently, new movement is said to have come into the poker for the offensive player. Before the top match against Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern bosses are said to have made the 21-year-old a lucrative offer, according to the Daily Star.
According to the report, Musiala could have earned around 170,000 euros per week if he had signed. However, the frustrated Musiala rejected the offer after the bitter defeat against the league leaders at the beginning of February. His current contract runs until 2026.
Interest from England
A development that is said to have aroused the interest of several clubs. Several Premier League clubs are positioning themselves to make a move for the German international in the summer. Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are all said to have him on their wish list.
Munich are not interested in such speculation. New sporting director Max Eberls recently emphasized the value of Musiala. A team should be built around him in the future. A sale in the summer therefore seems unlikely. In any case, the cards will be reshuffled after the departure of coach Thomas Tuchel.
