After just 17 seconds, Nick Pastujov intercepted a pass from KAC defender Postma and then tucked it into the corner of the net. The Red Jackets had problems at the start after the long break and made a few bad passes at the beginning. In minute 14 - in a contested third with seven two-minute penalties - Bull hit the bar for the visitors. Just one minute later, Mursak failed to score from close range in front of the Vorarlberg goal.

And in the second period, Klagenfurt never really found their form of the basic round, were prone to mistakes and sometimes static.
