Burglar caught during traffic stop

Forging documents and committing burglaries: During a traffic stop in Carinthia, the handcuffs clicked for a man living in Lower Austria. 

A Serb posed as a Slovenian. However, his forged documents were discovered during a traffic stop in Villach. But it was not only the fraud that the immigration and border police were able to detect. "When checking the personal data in the police inquiry systems, it turned out that the man is a 37-year-old Serbian and already has several convictions for burglary behind him," the police announced.

The 37-year-old, who lives in Baden near Lower Austria, also had several tools - including bolt cutters and screwdrivers - with him. "These were seized. The man was arrested!"
