GAK's lead at the top of the 2nd division table has melted to eleven points!

The Styrians at least salvaged a point on Friday evening with a last-minute goal against Vienna to draw 2-2. The trio of teams in pursuit of the top three had already secured victories - and Graz were unable to follow suit.

Vienna take a 2:0 lead
The team from Döbling took the lead in the Merkur Arena before the break. Noah Bischof (30') finished in the middle after a fine assist from Christoph Monschein in a combination of two ex-Bundesliga players.

Bischof, who is on loan from Rapid, was also involved in the second goal, as he won a penalty for a foul by Felix Klöchl. Ex-GAK player David Peham (54) scored with aplomb. The striker has scored four of his seven goals this season from the penalty spot.

4000 spectators in the Graz stadium
After a foul by Jürgen Bauer on Daniel Maderner, a penalty was awarded on the other side, which Maderner (75) converted. The more than 4,000 spectators then saw Gabriel Zirngast miss a top chance (89'), but were still able to cheer in the final minute.

In the last action of the game, a deflected Satin cross found Michael Cheukoua, who volleyed home from close range. Just over four minutes of stoppage time had elapsed. GAK's third defeat in their 18th league game could only just be avoided.
