Happy ending for Snow White and her puppies

Heavily pregnant and in poor condition, the dog was found on a lead at the train station. She was rescued shortly before giving birth and is now recovering with her puppies in a foster home run by TierQuarTier Vienna.

Shar-Pei dog "Schneewittchen" was simply left behind at Floridsdorf train station. She was in a deplorable condition, had inflamed eyes and was pregnant.

One puppy died after birth
Fortunately, she was discovered in time and brought to TierQuarTier Vienna. Once there, she gave birth to her seven puppies, one of which died shortly after birth. However, the other puppies and their mother are doing well. "'Snow White' is proving to be a wonderful mother dog who takes loving care of her. She longs for human affection and can't get enough cuddles," says operations manager Thomas Benda. The family is currently being cared for in a foster home, but they will soon be ready for a new home.

So the tragic story has a happy ending after all. "In light of Snow White, we would like to remind everyone that animals are not disposable", emphasizes Benda.
