Countless cute four-legged friends are still waiting for their forever homes in Tyrolean animal shelters. Whether dogs, cats, rabbits, or mice, they all want a nice place to live with caring families. As it does every week, the Tiroler Krone newspaper is introducing some of these adorable furry friends.

"Juka," the Malinois dog, is a very outgoing and active girl. She is about nine years old. She tries hard to do everything right and always wants to impress her favorite person. External stimuli such as cars or encounters with other dogs quickly stress her out. However, she is gradually learning to accept guidance and is also very good at engaging with it. She is an ideal hiking companion and sports partner. Any children in the household should be at least 12 years old. It is not known whether this sweet dog gets along with cats. These cute little animals are eagerly waiting for a species-appropriate home at the Mentlberg animal shelter. These rodents can live up to 22 years and need to be kept in groups of at least two of their own species. They are most active at night and like to romp around on all levels. That's why these little ones need a lot of space. Chinchillas are not animals for outdoor keeping. They love to climb and jump up and down, so it is important that they have something to climb on.
