Late on Saturday afternoon, the fire department had to respond to a chimney fire in Hörbranz. In the end, the incident turned out to be harmless, with no personal injury or damage to property.

This was mainly thanks to attentive neighbors' children who were outside the building. They saw a flame flickering out of the chimney and immediately informed a resident. The resident informed the fire department.

When the firefighters arrived on the scene, thick clouds of smoke were billowing out of the chimney. The firefighters checked the chimney for any embers and called a chimney sweep, who then professionally cleaned the chimney.
