Unknown persons stole e-bikes from an underground car park in Wattens

Between Wednesday and Saturday, unknown perpetrators struck in an underground parking garage in Wattens (Innsbruck-Land district) and stole two e-mountain bikes. They picked the locks and stole the bikes.

According to the police, the theft probably took place between March 5 and 8. The perpetrators gained unauthorized access to the underground car park of two apartment buildings.

Thousands of euros in damage
As far as we know so far, the thieves stole at least two e-mountain bikes. They probably forced the locks open in the process. The damage amounted to several thousand euros. "The investigation is ongoing," said the police.
