Days later, the consequences of the devastating fire in Golling in Salzburg are really being felt: the residents will only be able to get their belongings out of their apartments in the coming weeks, and the damage to the house is likely to run into the millions. The police have a first hot lead as to the cause of the fire.

No trespassing! Two days after the devastating fire, the residential building in Gollinger Moartalstraße is still cordoned off. The police have placed large-scale barrier tape in front of the building. 19 residents are not allowed back into their own four walls until further notice. "It will probably be months before I can move back in," says Gertraud Schlager in despair. She has lived here for more than ten years.
