For the first time ever, a list mayor entered the town hall in Schladming after the last municipal elections. Hermann Trinker is now aiming for a two-thirds majority in the ski metropolis. A quintet, however, is hunting for the mayor.

The 2020 municipal council elections were a turning point in Schladming: The ÖVP effectively lost its "hereditary lease" on the mayor's seat in the town hall. With Hermann Trinker, a list mayor has ruled the ski metropolis for the first time since then. And the former head of the village of Rohrmoos is quite satisfied with his performance.
