Tyrolean woman (63) allegedly lured girl out of garden

Serious charges were brought against a 63-year-old Tyrolean woman at the Innsbruck Regional Court on Tuesday. The woman allegedly lured her neighbor's three-year-old daughter out of the garden in the district of Kitzbühel in October of last year and tried to take her away, according to the indictment. 

"The girl was crying," the accused described. To calm her down, she wanted to take the child to the nearby supermarket to buy boots and sweets. "But I didn't mean any harm at all," said the 63-year-old remorsefully.

Mother had to go to the toilet briefly
The parents of the three-year-old are not really convinced by their neighbor's statements. "Our daughter hasn't been able to fall asleep on her own since then and her nature has changed," explained the mother, who had only gone to the toilet briefly at the time. Suddenly her girl was gone. The little girl had been out with her neighbor for a good ten minutes before her father discovered them.

I regret it very much and wouldn't do it again.

Internal facts "disputed"
The 63-year-old was finally acquitted at the Innsbruck Regional Court. The inner side of the crime was disputed. "The defendant probably didn't actually mean any harm by the action", the judge believes.
