Teenagers threaten classmates with firearm

Three teenagers are suspected of having robbed two classmates of the same age on Sunday afternoon in Vienna-Floridsdorf with punches and a handgun. The escalation is said to have been triggered by a planned clothes swap followed by a robbery.

As the suspects were known to the victims, the search for the alleged perpetrators was not very time-consuming and they were quickly located. 

Suspect confesses
One of the suspects was found at home by the officers. During questioning, the 14-year-old basically confessed, but said he knew nothing about a handgun.

Offered jacket for sale
Regarding the course of the crime, the minor stated that he and his two accomplices had previously contacted their later victims on the internet using false names and offered to buy or swap a jacket. This led to the meeting at which the robbery finally took place.

The loot was seized by the officers in a bush in the courtyard of an apartment building in the Floridsdorf district, where the suspects had hidden it. All three suspects were released.
