Gaisberg closed to traffic on New Year’s Eve

On New Year's Eve, the Gaisbergstraße will be closed to car traffic from 8 pm from the Zistel: This is to prevent traffic chaos in the Gaisbergspitze area. Bus services will be increased for this purpose. 

Every year, an enormous New Year's Eve rush can be expected on the Gaisberg. The night is also expected to be clear, which will attract even more onlookers to the summit.

As in the previous year, motorists will have to stop at 8 pm: the Gaisberg Landesstraße (L 107) will be closed from the Zistelalm. For all those who want to get to the top without stress, the bus will run at even closer intervals according to a special timetable.
