Burglars: Seven crime scenes at petrol stations and cars

The Feldkirchen police are looking for a burglar who broke open a safe at a petrol station and stole thousands of euros in cash. The officers from Ferlach have six crime scenes following car break-ins.

At around 3 a.m. on December 27, a previously unknown perpetrator broke into a petrol station in the Feldkirchen district. He used a battery-powered spreader to open a safe and stole cash amounting to thousands of euros. The exact amount of damage is not yet known.  

In the period from Sunday to Friday morning, a previously unknown perpetrator attempted to break into cars, some of which were locked, at a total of six locations at detached houses in the district of Klagenfurt. The perpetrator tore off the door handle of one car. From one car, the stranger stole a wallet along with ATM cards, a driver's license and other documents. The total loss cannot yet be estimated.
