Secret Santa campaign: presents for dogs, cats & co.

Christmas is just around the corner and it's not just us two-legged friends who are happy to receive presents. You can make pets happy with numerous campaigns and help Carinthia's animal shelters at the same time.

At TiKo Klagenfurt, a good 1300 animals find a temporary home every year - currently there are 250 four-legged friends! "The TiKo Secret Santa game has become a cherished tradition," says the animal shelter. Animal lovers can register as a Secret Santa at www.tiko. or.at/wichtelspiel and hand in their presents directly to TiKo in December or send them by post.

 "We are touched by the generosity of our elves every year. This is a huge help for us as an animal shelter," emphasizes Tara Geltner, President of the Carinthian Animal Welfare Association.

Fressnapf also makes animal shelter wishes come true with its "Tierisch engagiert" campaign: In the Fressnapf stores, there are Christmas trees complete with animal wish lists, under which customers can leave presents for the pets. The Garten Eden animal shelter also benefits from this.
