The alarm bells are ringing at TSG Hoffenheim. The midfield jewel Tom Bischof has aroused the interest of several clubs - including RB Leipzig. Can sporting director Andreas Schicker and new coach Christian Ilzer convince the 19-year-old to stay? 

In sporting terms, Ilzer has already mastered his first challenge with the dramatic 4:3 win against RB Leipzig last Saturday. But off the pitch, too, there is now likely to be a duel with the "bulls". In addition to Ilzer, sporting director Schicker will also be called upon.

Leipzig have discovered a real footballing gem in Hoffenheim. He goes by the name of Tom Bischof and is currently enchanting the German Bundesliga at the age of just 19. Last season, former coach Pellegrino Matarazzo introduced the youngster to the first team. The German finally made his breakthrough this season.

Contract expires in the summer
The U20 international made 14 appearances, scored one goal and contributed two assists. He also played his way onto the lists of several top clubs with consistently good performances. According to Sky, things are now set to get concrete with Leipzig.

According to the report, the "Bulls" have already held initial talks with those close to him. Bischof would be available on a free transfer in the summer. However, Hoffenheim are not thinking of letting the midfielder go without a fight. That is why Schicker and Ilzer now have to do some convincing to be able to continue to build on the highly talented 19-year-old.
