Column of smoke over Vienna: company premises in flames

A huge column of smoke south of the federal capital caused a stir among some Viennese on Sunday. A fire had broken out on a company site there. The professional fire department was deployed. 

The fire broke out late on Sunday morning. According to the Vienna professional fire department, several vehicles caught fire on a company site. Because the smoke from the inferno had spread throughout Favoriten, numerous emergency calls were received. 

Luckily, according to the emergency services, no one was on the premises during the fire and there were no injuries. The operation was over after about an hour.
