Kim Kardashian shows off her belly button piercing on Instagram again. Is the trend from the 2000s making a comeback?

The photo celebrating the comeback of her belly button piercing is hidden in a picture gallery, which she captioned "Life lately".

Fans cringe at piercing
The photo only shows a close-up of Kim's stomach; the 44-year-old's belly button clearly shows the retro body jewelry, which has her fans freaking out.

Of course, the piercing comeback didn't go unnoticed by fans. "Not the belly button piercing! Kimmy is taking us back to 2005!" wrote one in the comments. 

Another joked: "The belly button piercing - okay, you bad guy", and put a flame emoji behind his message. 

Multiple piercings
Of course, Kim Kardashian didn't just recently get the glittering piece of jewelry pierced through her belly button. Real fans know: The curvy beauty was already wearing the piercing before the premiere of "Keeping Up The Kardashians" in 2007. 

And it's by no means the only piercing Kim has had. In 2017, the TV celebrity revealed that she has a total of six piercings - including in both ears.

In recent years, however, Kim has worn her body jewelry less and less. The mum-of-four prefers to show off her hourglass figure with sparkling belly and body chains. But who knows: maybe the belly button piercing will soon be celebrating a huge trend comeback thanks to Kardashian's photo ...
