Kremlin launches series production of mobile nuclear bunkers

Now that the war is increasingly returning to the aggressor state, mobile nuclear bunkers are even being mass-produced there.

The situation in Russia is becoming increasingly precarious. After a long back and forth, the White House has given Ukraine permission to attack the world's largest country with long-range weapons. The Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations has announced that series production of the mobile "KUB-M" bunkers has now begun to protect the population.

Production is taking place in the Russian city of Dzerzhinsk in the Nizhny Novgorod oblast. The bunker can withstand a variety of threats, it is emphasized. These include natural disasters as well as man-made events.

According to its developers, "KUB-M" offers 48 hours of protection from blast waves, radiation after a nuclear attack, conventional weapons, falling debris, hazardous chemicals and fires.

Easy to transport - even by train
The standard configuration consists of two modules: a room for 54 people and a technical block. The capacity can be expanded with additional modules. As the developers proudly point out, the bunker is easy to transport and can be connected to existing supply systems. If necessary, it can even be moved to a new location by road or train.
