Police stop drugged driver on the Westautobahn

Police officers noticed a car with a conspicuous driving style on the Westautobahn (A1) at the weekend. The officers stopped the driver at the Wallersee exit. The 24-year-old man from Tennengau appeared suspicious and was asked to take a drug test.

He tested positive for THC. The man had to surrender his driver's license and was reported to the police. 

Traffic police officers also carried out extensive checks in the Salzburg city area on Sunday. They imposed 53 tickets and issued four reports. Worth mentioning: A 45-year-old man from Salzburg got behind the wheel with a blood alcohol level of 1.68.
