Employees in the care, health and social work sectors should earn more money. The trade union for private employees (GPA) in Salzburg is insisting on this. It intends to present its demands to politicians on Wednesday.

Salzburg employees in the Austrian social economy - including private providers such as Volkshilfe, Lebenshilfe and Rettet das Kind - are fighting for more money. They are increasing their pressure in the ongoing collective bargaining negotiations and are presenting their demands to politicians at a public action in front of the Salzburg state parliament on Wednesday at 8.30 am.

"We are fighting for all those who work under difficult conditions every day. The situation is no longer acceptable," says Orhan Dönmez from the GPA trade union. The aim is to obtain broad support for the concerns of employees in the private care, health and social sector.
