15-year-old was robbed at the main station

A previously unknown perpetrator threatened a local man (15) with a baton in Salzburg on Monday evening. He robbed him of his bag and injured him in the process. The investigation is ongoing.

At around 7.50 pm on Monday, a 15-year-old from Salzburg was walking in the area of Salzburg Central Station. He was the victim of a robbery. According to the police, a previously unknown perpetrator threatened him with a telescopic baton. The perpetrator used force to tear a black fanny pack from the boy's body and ran away.

Cell phone and AirPods stolen
The teenager sustained minor injuries to his face and knee during the robbery. He was carrying a cell phone, AirPods and a power bank in the fanny pack.

The damage is in the low four-digit range. Further investigations will follow to identify the perpetrator.
