A walk for a senior citizen (73) in Telfs (Innsbruck-Land district) ended with serious injuries. On Thursday morning, he was hit by a car driver (77) in the area of a safety path and thrown to the ground.

The incident occurred at around 11 am. A 77-year-old local man was driving his car in Telfs. The man and his vehicle collided with a senior citizen (73) in the area of a safety path.

Senior citizen seriously injured
The local man fell and sustained serious injuries. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Innsbruck for further treatment. The accident caused brief traffic restrictions in the area of the intersection.
