1000 open studios
Numerous creative people opened their private doors
The beautiful autumn weather at the weekend once again attracted more than 50,000 visitors to the private studios of more than 1000 Lower Austrian creatives. Paintings, photos, ceramics, sculptures and installations were presented in 350 locations - accompanied by a suitable supporting program.
Throughout the weekend, more than 1000 creative artists opened their doors in Lower Austria to share their works of art and their everyday artistic lives with the general public. And there was plenty on offer - be it ceramic art including lectures on the subject, live music or themed readings - there was something for everyone interested in culture on these two days.
Claudia Hornik in Kirchberg am Wechsel, for example, invited her guests to view photos and paintings accompanied by DJ music and a campfire. In the creative workshop in Seebenstein, Gerda Steurer showed interested visitors her book-folding art. In Franz Strebinger's studio in Neunkirchen, his ceramic art and videos of his travels were on display and guests were also entertained with live music in the studio of painter Iris Weber in Hart near Gloggnitz.

The date for next year has already been set - the "Open Studio Days" will take place on October 18 and 19.
