Two electric cars burnt out on Sunday morning

Two (partially) electric vehicles burst into flames on Sunday morning. A Mercedes caught fire in Lambrechten and a hybrid Peugeot went up in flames in a carport in Wolfern near Steyr. Thanks to the rapid intervention of the fire departments, the fires were contained before any major damage occurred.

Local fire departments had to respond to burning cars twice on Sunday morning! In Lambrechten, four fire departments were called out because an expensive Mercedes had gone up in flames at the edge of the forest. The difficult operation lasted until the early afternoon.

Second fire a few minutes earlier
In Wolfern, a (partially) electric car had caught fire just a few minutes earlier. The hybrid Peugeot suddenly burst into flames in a carport. The rapid intervention of four fire departments prevented the fire from spreading to the neighboring buildings.
