Gang of children robbed two teenagers in Vienna

Two teenagers were attacked and robbed by a group of five 12 to 13-year-olds in Vienna's Leopoldstadt district on Saturday night. During their search, the police came across the young suspects with Serbian, Syrian, Afghan and Austrian citizenship not far from the crime scene.

The officers were also able to find and recover stolen goods from the five suspects. The loot could be attributed to the three victims. In addition, a knife was taken from them, which had allegedly been used to threaten the youngsters.

The children were then reported and placed in custody, the police reported.
