Around 250 years after Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed the "Milan Variations", they have now been heard for the first time in Graz. For a long time, the work was dismissed as "unmozartic" and attributed to an unknown musician. However, new research shows that the sheet music, which was found in an archive in Graz, can be attributed to Mozart.

There was a whiff of history in the air at the Styrian Provincial Archives in Graz on Wednesday afternoon. For the first time in 253 years, a youthful work by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart could be heard there.
