Serious traffic accident on Saturday evening in the Tyrolean Zillertal! A Polish man (37) crashed his car several meters down a steeply sloping forest slope. However, because he did not have a driver's license, the uninjured man made off. The wreck was discovered on Sunday morning.

At around 8 pm on Saturday evening, the 37-year-old was driving his car out of the valley on the private road "Zemmgrund" in Ginzling. "In the area of a slight right-hand bend, the man lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons, left the road and fell around 15 meters over steeply sloping terrain," said the police. As he does not have a valid driving license, the Pole left the scene of the accident unharmed and went to his home address.

Accident driver is charged
On Sunday morning, the vehicle was discovered by several people, who set the rescue chain in motion. "As no people could be found in the vicinity of the car during a subsequent search, the badly damaged vehicle was recovered," said the police. In the course of further investigations, the Polish man was then located and found in his accommodation. The 37-year-old, who was alone in the vehicle, will be charged.
