Water distribution points for Klagenfurt expanded

The water in certain parts of Klagenfurt is still not safe to drink. Now the water distribution points are being extended. 

Around 70,000 Klagenfurt residents have clean water from the municipal water pipes again. A good 30,000 residents still have to make do without drinking water from the mains. To ensure that those affected also have the best possible supply of drinking water, there will be another distribution point from Saturday.

New location
The additional location of the water distribution point will be on the south side of the Wörthersee Stadium - Südring entrance - from October 12. This location will also be open daily from 8 am to 8 pm.

From Saturday, the previous water distribution point will also move from the trade fair parking lot to the inner courtyard of Stadtwerke Klagenfurt AG, St. Veiter Straße 31 - entrance via Krassniggstraße. The City of Klagenfurt has announced that water will no longer be dispensed from the trade fair parking lot on Friday evening, as this space is needed for the Ursula Market. 

Both water distribution points (Stadtwerke and Stadion) are open daily from 8 am to 8 pm until further notice. PET bottles and water canisters will be handed out on site.
