Halloween masked man threatened and stole from store

A strange customer was aggressive in a supermarket in Klagenfurt on October 10: He wore a Halloween mask, threatened an employee, committed a theft and fled on a bicycle.

Shortly after 4 p.m. on Thursday, officers from the St. Ruprechter Straße police station and officers from the riot unit were called to a supermarket in Klagenfurt because a masked man was threatening an employee with a bottle.

During the approach, the officers were informed that the man had also committed shoplifting and was fleeing towards the city center on a bicycle.

The officers were quickly able to stop a 25-year-old Somali citizen known to the police. He still had a Halloween mask covering his face.

At the police station, the 25-year-old became increasingly aggressive, insulted the officers loudly and waved his arms wildly at them. He was therefore temporarily taken to the police detention center in Klagenfurt. He will be reported to the public prosecutor's office in Klagenfurt and the Carinthian regional police headquarters.
