Woman (22) falls from window – in mortal danger

On Saturday afternoon, a young woman fell from a window of her fourth-floor apartment in Vienna-Favoriten. She suffered life-threatening injuries. According to current information, she had previously argued with her husband (30), the Bulgarian was provisionally arrested (see video above).

He made contradictory statements about the incident. It is still unclear whether it was an accident or the fault of a third party. The Bulgarian was banned from entering and approaching the premises and provisionally banned from carrying weapons. He has also already been taken to a prison.

At the time of the incident (Saturday around 4 p.m.), the husband, two friends and the couple's three children were present in the apartment. The 22-year-old woman suffered a fractured lower leg, pelvic bridge and abdominal trauma when she fell out of the window. She received emergency medical treatment from the Vienna ambulance service and was taken to hospital. Her life is currently still in danger.

Witnesses report jealousy
The Vienna State Criminal Police Office is investigating and has already questioned the couple's two friends. They stated that the couple had gone into another room and had argued. Jealousy had been involved. The 22-year-old then suddenly fell out of the window.

Cell phone store owner Adnan E. found the woman: "Suddenly something hit the floor. Then I came out and turned around. Someone was shouting. And then I saw a lady lying on the floor," he told "Krone". It looked bad. He went back to his business, but didn't want to keep it up.

The arrested husband admitted to the fight, but said he would not have pushed his wife out of the window.
