Employee has been plundering the company warehouse for years

Bad luck for the employee of a company in the district of Klagenfurt-Land: the suspect regularly stole goods from the warehouse and offered them for sale online, among other things. His boss came across the ad. 

The boss of an installation company could hardly believe his eyes when he was recently browsing an online sales platform and saw goods on offer with his company label. The 57-year-old immediately filed an angry complaint with the police. The online seller: his long-time employee, also from the district of Klagenfurt-Land.

The 50-year-old employee finally admitted to the officers that he had regularly helped himself illegally to the company warehouse for at least ten years and then sold some of the goods to private individuals or turned them into money via the Internet. Total loss: several tens of thousands of euros. The suspect was charged with embezzlement.
