The “Krone” is looking for the lord of Rosenburg Castle

On September 28 and 29 and October 5 and 6, visitors to Rosenburg Castle in the Waldviertel will once again experience a journey back in time to the Middle Ages. And the "Krone" invites you to take part in a competition. 

Rosenburg Castle towers high above the Kamptal valley. Not only is it home to the only surviving tournament site in the whole of Europe, but the beautiful castle is also the setting for one of the most beautiful medieval festivals in the country. Noble knights meet here for a show fight and compete in jousting or sword fighting in front of the fair damsels of the castle.

Camp life attracts visitors with jugglers, food and drink as well as all kinds of fun games for children of all ages, and there is also the famous falconry to marvel at.
