Police school location in the Chamber of Commerce fixed

The Burgenland Police School will have an additional location in the Chamber of Commerce in Eisenstadt. The cooperation agreement was signed at the Ministry of the Interior in Vienna. The premises will be available from mid-2025.

Due to the constantly high enrolment figures at the police school in Eisenstadt, an expansion is necessary: As reported, the Burgenland Chamber of Commerce will provide premises for two training courses in future. Now everything is officially signed and sealed: The corresponding cooperation agreement was signed by Interior Minister Gerhard Karner, Burgenland's Economic Chamber President Andreas Wirth and Economic Chamber Director Harald Schermann in Vienna.The cooperation with the Burgenland Economic Chamber creates the opportunity to train Burgenland police officers directly in the province, emphasized Minister Karner. Outsourcing the courses to Lower Austria or Vienna is therefore no longer necessary.

Proven and constructive partnership
"We are very pleased to be able to offer two courses of the police school the space they need in our building over the course of the coming year," explained Chamber President Wirth and Director Schermann. The Burgenland Chamber of Commerce and the police have had a proven and constructive partnership for a long time - for example in terms of joint priority actions against social fraud at the borders or in the area of cybercrime.
