Vorarlberg aid for the disaster area

In contrast to eastern Austria, Vorarlberg has been spared heavy rainfall and devastating storms. In order to support the emergency services in the flood areas, the Vorarlberg State Fire Brigade Association, the state and the municipalities will help out with technical equipment.

On Monday, around 60 firefighters will set off for Lower Austria to help their comrades there with heavy equipment. Among other things, they will have large pumps and sludge pumps with them, and small pumps will also be available if necessary.

Although it also rained heavily in some parts of the country over the weekend, the water levels on the rivers are all in the green zone.
