Fishing boat with a ton of cocaine stopped

A fishing boat has been detained off the coast of Cornwall with a cargo of around one ton of cocaine. Footage showed brick-shaped packages wrapped in brown paper and labeled PEZX.

According to the British National Crime Agency (NCA), four men were arrested when the boat named "Lily Lola" (pictured in the tweet below) was stopped at sea near the town of Newquay.

It was a significant amount of cocaine which represented a huge loss to the group of organized criminals who were trying to bring it into the UK, said NCA commander in charge Derek Evans, according to the statement (see tweet above).
