Boulder hits 36-year-old during tunnel work

Shortly after midnight, a 36-year-old construction worker was preparing to blast a tunnel near Zell am See when a piece of rock came loose from the wall. It hit the man and injured his arm.

The construction worker was drilling blast holes in the wall at the time when the chunk detached itself from the rock. It is not known how serious the injuries are.

The rescue team took the 36-year-old to hospital in Zell am See.
