Salzburg debut imminent! New arrivals are ready

Liverpool's summer signings Stefan Bajcetic and Bobby Clark are about to make their first appearances for runners-up Red Bull Salzburg. 

Coach Pepijn Lijnders confirmed at a press conference on Thursday that the match permits had been issued and that the two professionals were ready. They could make at least one debut in the Bundesliga home game against Austria Klagenfurt on Saturday (17:00). "We'll see on Saturday," said Lijnders.

"98 percent is not enough"
The more defensive-minded Bajcetic, who is on loan from Liverpool for a season, has a rhythm to his game as he has completed all of his preparation at the English top club. "It's a bit different with Bobby Clark, who was injured for a long time," explained Lijnders. "But he's been training with the team since he's been there (in Salzburg; note)."

Salzburg had started the league season with three wins before losing 3-2 at Rapid in the last round before the international break on September 1. "Let me put it this way: 98 percent is not enough. It's always the last two percent that make the difference," Lijnders reflected on the game. Salzburg are currently in fourth place with nine points, while Klagenfurt are sixth with two points less.
