The relationship was already over, but on Tuesday evening a 22-year-old man from Graz broke into his ex-girlfriend's house in Kaindorf (municipality of Leibnitz). Out of fear, the 20-year-old hid on the second floor with her sister.

At around 9.45 p.m., two patrols from the Leibnitz police station were called to the alleged burglary and found the two women. The man from Graz had already fled and was hiding on a neighboring property.

When he was discovered by the police, he tried to flee and vehemently resisted arrest. Four police officers were slightly injured, as was the 22-year-old man from Graz.
