The red Renault with SL license plates was supposed to transport Emrah I. (18) quickly. The young man drove from Neumarkt to Munich in the family car on Thursday morning. There he wanted to carry out his gruesome plan. It remained an attempt at terror. But it ended fatally for Emrah I.

The parked car helped the Bavarian officers to identify the assassin from Flachgau as quickly as possible. The local police soon arrived at the family home in his home community. The police had heard about Emrah I's disappearance in the morning. His teacher had waited for him in vain and his parents took action.

Clues to the crime?
While the well-known and radicalized boy was absent from work, he fired shots within twelve minutes from the World War II rifle he had illegally purchased the day before. He missed people, hit panes of glass and brickwork. The whole of Munich was in a state of emergency.

Just a few days before the crime, Emrah I had probably told his brother that he should take care of himself and do something good with his life. What sounds like a hint could have been a reference to the failed terrorist attack on Thursday.
