Erwin Wurm: Exhibition to mark his milestone birthday

The successful Styrian artist Erwin Wurm was personally present at the opening of his derivatives in the gallery at the Albertina Zetter. His works of art are on display to mark his 70th birthday.

With his "One Minute Sculptures", Styrian artist Erwin Wurm has caused an international sensation in an unconventional way. On the occasion of his 70th birthday, his works can now be seen until October 5 in the gallery at Albertina Zetter, which acquired Wurm's artworks at auctions and in the art trade.

In addition to the artist, ORF lady Teresa Vogl and the German artist Franz Josef Baur, among others, were also impressed. Of course, the Zetter dynasty in the person of Christa Zetter, Katharina Zetter-Karner and Amelie Zetter-Karner were not to be missed.

"I try to scan our society through the concept of the cultural and then add the absurd," says Wurm to "Krone", "there are more ideas than I can realize." The 70s don't worry the fit and bustling artist. "There are worse things and I'm fine all round."
