Pregnant woman threatened and attacked by husband

On Saturday evening, another case of domestic violence occurred in an apartment in Vienna-Favoriten. A 34-year-old man had attacked his pregnant wife and threatened to kill her.

When the police arrived at the apartment at around 7.30 p.m., the woman stated that she had been attacked by her husband during a violent argument. The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Statement refused
The police arrested the 34-year-old on suspicion of making dangerous threats and assault. In addition, he was banned from entering and approaching the house and a temporary weapons ban was issued. He is currently refusing to make a statement. He will be charged at large.
