Google launches revised AI image generator

After a month-long break, Google has revised the image generator of its artificial intelligence "Gemini". The new version is to be made available in the coming days.

The Alphabet subsidiary explained on Wednesday that it had improved the product in order to comply with the "product principles". Simulations have been carried out to find weak points. The US company had to switch off the AI image generator in the meantime because it contained errors in the display of historical motifs.

The new version of "Gemini" competes with ChatGPT from Microsoft partner OpenAI and will initially be available in English to paying users of the chatbot of the same name. The model will later be expanded to reach more users and languages.
