Construction of shopping center likely to be delayed

A complaint has been lodged against the planned shopping center of the Gottesheim brothers in Siegendorf.

As reported, a second 3600 m² retail park is to be built in Siegendorf between the "Intro" shopping center and the Shell petrol station at the beginning of 2025. The plans for this were drawn up by real estate developers and "Chapeau" managing directors Andreas and Christoph Gottesheim.

Brothers "surprised"
The visual inspection took place back in February, but there is still no green light for the construction project. "An appeal has been lodged in this matter, which will now be submitted to the Burgenland Provincial Administrative Court. It therefore remains to be seen what decision the provincial administrative court will make," says the Eisenstadt-Umgebung district authority.

Andreas Gottesheim is "surprised by this, as all the objections raised by local residents were already taken into consideration during the building negotiations."
