Koppl: Did an Afghan attack teenagers with a knife?

Yesterday, Tuesday, an Afghan allegedly made a dangerous threat to a group of teenagers with a knife. The teenagers then drove off in a car - the Afghan was subsequently apprehended by the police. He had felt that he was being watched and did not have a knife in his hand. 

Shortly after 9 p.m., a public parking lot in Koppl: A group of young people are standing together comfortably by two cars. According to Salzburg police, a man with a knife suddenly ran towards the group. The teenagers jumped into the cars, ran away and called the police. 

A police patrol was able to stop the man, who turned out to be a 24-year-old Afghan, on his way from Koppl to Salzburg. A knife was seized in the vehicle. He had felt that he was being watched and only wanted to question the young people, he told the police during questioning. He only had a cell phone in his hand and not the knife, which incidentally belonged to his wife. The man is charged at large.
