Fixed! Tabakovic moves to the German Bundesliga

After just one season in the 2nd German Bundesliga, Haris Tabakovic has made the step up to the top flight: the former Vienna Austria goalscorer is moving from Hertha BSC to TSG Hoffenheim!

A transfer fee of up to five million euros was recently mooted.

"With his size and penetrating power, Haris is a typical striker who has proven his scoring prowess in recent years and at his various stations," enthuses Frank Kramer, TSG's interim sporting director. "He is a mentality player and goal scorer who can set the tone in a game in attack." 

21 goals for Austria
The 1.94-metre giant moved from Vienna's Austria to Berlin in the summer of 2023 for half a million euros. He scored 21 goals and set up four goals in 42 competitive matches for the "Veilchen".

With this transfer, TSG closes the gap created by the departures of Weghorst and Maximilian Beier. With Adam Hlozek, Hoffenheim have already signed a striker (18 million from Bayer Leverkusen). Tabakovic could be the last missing piece of the puzzle.
