The third and final practice session for the Dutch Grand Prix on Saturday was overshadowed by a fire accident involving Logan Sargeant. A long interruption was the result, but fortunately the Williams driver was uninjured.

After turn three, Sargeant hit the grass with one wheel, but the Williams driver stayed on the gas. He then lost control of his car and crashed heavily into the barrier. The car caught fire, but Sargeant was able to free himself in time.

Alpine driver Pierre Gasly took the fastest time. However, due to the long interruption (more than 40 minutes), it was a practice session without any meaningful results.

Verstappen not the favorite
Formula 1 is more alive than ever before ahead of the festival that Dutch fans are hoping for in Zandvoort. In 14 races, there have been seven winners who are employed by four teams.

Ahead of the race on the North Sea coast, Red Bull does not believe it can restore the old order due to its inactivity during the summer break. Max Verstappen is winless in four consecutive races ahead of his 200th Grand Prix start and for the first time does not arrive at his home event as the favorite.
